1995 Ford Aerostar AWD Transfer Case Problem
The transfer case on my 1995 Aerostar is chewing up the rear speed sensor for the AWD. If I take the sensor out and put my finger in the hole and then move rear drive shaft it has a little bit of play. The transfer case doesn't leak any fluid. Would the rear bushing likely be worn, or would it likely be the rear bearing? How hard is this to change? Also, does anyone know where to get the tools listed in the Factory Service Manuals?

Were you aware of a recall for the rear casing on the transfer case and the drive shaft (91- 96)? I know there's one in Canada. I assume its all North America. Check your dealer.
