went muddin friday night and was glad i had the front end locked. having 4 missmatched almlost bald tires doesnt help much either. went thru one rut by accident going to pull a guy out and the front driversde went thru and the pass side just stopped in it. tried to move but couldnt so i opened the door and fell out. the bottom of the door was almost chest heigth it was so deep. i walked around to survey the damage and the front tires werent spinin so i got back in and i must have hit the front tcase shifter when i hit it the first time. pulled it in gear and lugged right out. then my buddy thought he could pull this dodge that was stuck up over the hill with his dodge and didnt even budge it. so i hooked onto him and ripped him up over the hill judst to prove to him that fords are by far, supperior.
yeah but streat manners with just one hub locked and in 4x4 really sux it will trow you to one side onder power and the other when compression. with out it in 4x though i dont even notice it just like it isnt locked aat all
im only runnin 29s right now but 33 are soon to come. something tells me ill rip ut the ttb before i break a sector shaft buty if i do ive got a spare box to steal parts off of
With the D44 TTB, I highly doubt the steering will give up before the u-joints will. But, weirder things have happened... With 33's and a built 300, I hope you either have an auto or a supply of spare axle shafts....
