Paint Professionals READ ME!!!
Well since Mr. T on top of this forum keeps telling me I need to post here I go...
I just returned from Iraq and finally have the cash to get my truck painted. I don't have time or the facilities to prep it. So who knows how much it might cost me to get it stripped and painted here in Louisiana?
It is a 1981 Ford Ranger F100, wooden bed rotted out years ago, but it will be replaced when the truck is painted. There is one dent in the body right in front of the drivers door, should pop out fairly easily but there looks to be some rust in and around the dent.

Your cost will depend on the color (red is one of the most expensive), type of paint (enamel, urethane, & etc.), expected results (daily driver, show truck, & etc.) and the hours needed to make the fixes you talked about. My suggestion would be to get local estimates on the fixes require. After the metalwork is done, go paint shopping.
