5 speed problem
I am in the process of reworking my '89 F150, 302, 5 speed, 4x4.. I have sorted out the engine, the diffs, and the suspension, and now have to look into the tranny - it works fine, sounds good, doesn't flop about any, but there is one small problem. If I slow down, gently, in third, like coming to a bend, the thing pops out of gear - no noise, just slips out.
What is happening, and how can it be fixed?
