Question Upgrade Front Brake Rotors

I'm thinking about purchasing the slotted and drilled brake rotors with pads for a 93 F-150 4 WD. Are these worth the extra expense? What are the best upgraded pads?

Don't get the drilled brake rotors. Slotted rotors are all you need. There is a very good chance to crack a drilled rotor compare to a slotted rotor, plus the performance between a drilled&slotted rotor and a slotted-only rotor is not that much. One good upgrade for a rotor is cryogenic treatment. Cryogenically treated rotors give you a very long life rotor with much better fade resistance. I have good luck with ceramic brake pads that I picked up from AutoZone, very low dust with very good performance.
