My truck came with the ford liner already installed(5.5 bed). Looks like the holes were already installed in the liner. They just removed the tie down mounts and reinstalled them with the liner in.

I have a 5 1/2' pendaliner and am a little unsure if it is installed correctly. There are two 3" openings in the front to allow access to the tie hooks. I had to call pendaliner to have them send me the two covers, but the covers won't fit because the hooks stick out the holes too far. Has anybody else found this to happen? If so, what have you done to resolve it? Thanks!

I believe the Duraliners have the holes pre-drilled. The bolts are removed from the tiedown hooks and hooks and bolts are reinstalled on the outside of the bedliner. I think this is much better than bedliners that have big holes cut out for the tiedowns that are open all around the tiedowns and thus allow more water in (and with the Duraliner you can easily seal around the bolt holes with silicone).
