Rear Hatch Wont Open
Once the cover is removed, get yourself a long skinney slotled screwdriver.
But first, remove the connecting rod which goes thru the hole, that rod is attached to the tumbler(locker). Then try to push the point where the rod was inserted, with your hand. this should unlock the tumbler, if it doesn't, then you need the screwdriver. you'll need to put the screwdriver thru the hole into the tumbler. try to wiggle the screwdriver. you have to wiggle it, because it's such tight space to work in, you can't see the tumbler at all. What you'll be trying is to position the screwdriver between to two fingers, and seperating them that way, you might also need to push on the door, simultaniously.
I hope this works, that's how We opened our door. I suggest once the door is opened, that you unscrew the tumbler and get rid of the rust, and greese it up good, and test is a good 50 times, before re-attaching it. because you don't want it to fail again.
Be carefull if you plan to unscrew the tumbler, the screws are very tight, and you don't want to round them off.
