Cool Ac Blowing Power???

I have an 89 BII, IM looking for a way to increase the blowing power from my ac ducts. Ive already changed out the blower motor which helped but it still does not blow that hard. Is there a cabin filter that could be blocked? IF so where is it located? Also does anybody know where you can find an aftermarket fan blade that is better then stock. Ive heard of people switching out the fan blade itself and it makes big differences. Is this possible for a BII, ANy suggestions are appreciated thx

no cabin filter on an 89. I would want to check for the evaporator air flow first, thet are bad about dirt and such collecting on the wet evaporator fins and blocking air flow.I think on yours you can remove the blower resistor to inspect it. not a very big hole but should give you an idea if that might be your problem. Good luck.

Wink

wow, its hard to say exactly without seeing what you have.the resistor has about 4-5 wires in a connector , is mounted in the evap. housing ,rt back of engine compartment has 2 screws holding it in. remove it and should be able to see the evaporator, check to see if there is any debris collected on it. if there is ,it would not be a good job to do if you have no experince with ac.s Gary
