no problem, just double check the frame mounts. mounts from a 302 truck will fit

360/390, and 400/351m mounts should fit, but its been a while for me.
my recent swaps have all been 460s...
my wife reminded me that the mounts in my 390 truck once held up a 351c, so I do know that the frame mounts will work... good!

if you do have to swap the shift-shaft, its easy, but you have to pull the pan to do it.

just a thought, LTD/Marquis c-6s didn't always have shift detents in the valve body. the shift valving in the valvebody will just slide smoothly. earlier c-6s and truck c-6s usually had detents on this shaft to make the bumps you feel when you move the selector.
you may need to swap valvebodies, and add the rolling spring thingie from the old trans. you will see the difference when you have the trans pan off.
you may not have this problem at all though.
manually move the shift arm on the trannies, you should feel the clunk between gears, if you do, you are alright.
