locker rear end

my 66 f100 has a full locker rear end. i think. what ford trucks came stock with thies so i can get parts? again thanks for all the awsome help in here.

FYI nothing came stock with a fully locked rear diff. You could be the Traction lok diff, a limited slip clutch pack job, or you might have been able to option up a Detroit locker, a spring loaded clunk and chirp job that is quite strong.

As far as what was in there, it is probably a 9 inch.

Lots of these out there in almost all half tons and big Bronco's up to mid 70's.

Do you have a drop out carrier and no cover on the back? If so, it's a 9 inch and you can find used, or reman'd or even new custom units.

Ford will have parts for it.

I would not recommend a do it yourself job on these, as they have a "crush collar" that has to be crushed with the proper torque for the pinion bearing. Very easy to end up with a growler if done wrong.

ok its not a 9" as every thing comes out the back iv got some pics butt im lost on how to build my gallery my daughter is gonna help me tomarow before she goes to work god i feel OLD!
