79 f100

I have a 79 f100 that just stopped running while driving, and squirts gas out of the vents on top. I put a kit in it and adjusted the float level and it still overflows the carb and wont start. could this be excessive fuel pressure? please help.

Sounds like a bad float.

Maybe a bad float, maybe a small piece of crud in the needle/seat area (that happened to mine).

it was a bad float, thanks for the help. i don't know much about carbs.
