Jet computer chip tb spacer
I have a 96 I6 2wd f-150 with 68000 miles on it and want to get more power out of it. I was looking at getting a Jet Chip for it and wondered if anybody knows about it. I met a fella who sings its praises and wanted to get more oppinions bfore i spent the money. Also I am looking into a throttle body spacer by Helix and wanted info on it as well.

I was told the TBS is a waist of money since the head is the cork in the way. The chip might do some thing but im unsure. I was looking at the hypertech since you can use it to adjust trans shift, tire size and gear change to fix the speed-o, and it makes more power. I think they make pullies and a low temp thermostate as well. K&N filter is another option and it's good investment since it's washable. I am going to do exhaust, JC Wittnee sells a cheep kit for our truck like 150 bucks and i will post the results.
But your never going to have V8 horsepower with those bolt'ons. The only way to make real power is with a power adder like a turbo from what i have read.
