Question

P0113 code

I have a 97 F150, 4.6 with 183,000 miles on it. I just today put plugs and wires on it. The job was not simple by any means. As soon as I started the truck the check engine light came on. I went back and checked all the wires and they are on tight. I took the truck to Autozone to read the codes. The code that came up was a P0113 which showed IAT sensor, high input.. Im confused can any one help me. The truck is missing profusely.

Did you plug in the IAT connector? The IAT is the sensor half way up on the air intake tube from the air cleaner to the throttle body.

The IAT sensor provieds the computer with Intake Air Tempature. Important information for determining fuel / air ratio.
