I am pretty sure that the bellhousing pattern is the same. How has your 5 speed held up over time?

The 300 has the same bolt pattern as a 351M, 400, 429, and 460. The 351W has the standard small block bolt pattern, so the bellhousing won't work. If the housing is a bolt on piece, you should be able to get one that would work, just need to know the length of the input shaft so you're not putting pressure on the tranny's front bearing.

The 300 and the 351 use the same bellhousing pattern. It is mentioned in this article: http://www.y-blocksforever.com/html/bendtsen.html

300 I6 has a small block patern. It should be a direct bolt up.

Actually, it is the other way, the 300, 289, 302 and 351W use the same bell, the M's will trade with the 460's but not the 300.

From: Destin/Ft. Walton Beach,
You'll need a different flywheel to match the 351 imbalance weight, since it's different then the 300.

that 351 is carbed right? how are you going to get it to pass inspection with a carbed motor in a EFI truck. Just a thought
