Changing a 302, need help!
Ok, lets see if anyone can help me out with my problem. I have a 1980, Ford F-100 step design truck, with a 302fuel injected enjine, but it is being converted to carbureted. One, is this possible, and if so, is it difficult for this style of truck? I need to know, because I am getting mixed answers from friends and family, some saying that its only a quick job, others saying that it will take extremely long, costing probably over $1000.....
So, what should I do? Anyone have any opinions??

Unless someone converted it, the 80 will not have injection, unless you miskeyed the model year. As far as coming from injection to carb, it isn't that bad, but you will need to change the intake, and either change out the tank sender, modify it for use, or use the pump in the tank and operate it by something other than computer control, and also regulate the pressure down to 7 psi.
