0-60 time with Edge

Just got an edge module for my 99, and finally had a chance to go check out the included 0-60 timer. Couldn't be happier

2wd Veggie oil 7.8
4wd Veggie oil 7.3
2wd Diesel 7.3
4wd Diesel 6.8

I take it veggie oil is gasoline. As far as diesel, is that stock or modded?

No, not really. I have converted my truck to run Waste Vegetable Oil that I collect from resturaunts and stores. Get the stuff free

Guess I should add my signature. My truck is a 99 SD, PSD 4x4, CC,SB. I weighed in at 7,840lbs including myself. The only mods to my truck is the Wastegate Bypass, and K&N(soon to be replaced.

What exactly is the wastegate mod and how do you go about doing it. I've heard of people messin with the wastegate on dodges before.

Vegetable oil...yeah, like the kind you fry potatos in! Do a search on google for SVO, WVO, or bio-diesel...kinda neat IMHO...

There are a few different versions of the bypass out. SOrry I am in a bit of a rush so I am skimping on details. One way is called the boost tube, but the way I did it was to remove the red vacum tube from the wastegate and stuff it on the end of the clamp bolt for the turbo tube. Then installed an air pressure regulator inline to the map sensor to prevent overboost SES light. Should have a boost gage before doing this to monitor things though.

Bio is just one form. It is refined vegge oil, I run Straight unrefined Vegetable Oil. There is a lot of info and links out there. I would post more but all my shortcuts are at home, and I aint there.
