just bought a 70 F250 crewcab that has been butchered many times. Can anybody steer me towards this vehicle's original equipment? VIN no. is F25YCG90026
Things I do know: has ps, padded door panels{ranger?} black vinyl rear seat, has clutch pedal and hole in floor for 4spd.
Thanks in advance
According to that, you've got a f-250, 4x2, was a 360 originally, was built in Ontario, and was built in November of '69. You may not have the right door on there, but if you can put that info off the door tag on here, I can tell you more of what you had.
Sorry made a mistake on VIN. F25YCG90020
here's what the data plate says:
WB ? model ? Axle
149 B F253 4 G37
6100 170 4100 B60124
GVW HP? RPM? ??????
This was all I could read off the tag.
I think it is an original standard trans. boot over floor clutch hole, pedal still in truck but had Auto column installed. It looks like ranger? door panels but has the basic vinyl seats front and back.
Thanks for any help!
Wheelbase of 149", Royal Maroon exterior paint, 6100 gvw, Black interior, book just says automatic trans for " G" code? Not sure on the rear axle, book doesn't have G37 code, again 6100gvw, 170 horse at 4100 rpm, built for western u.s. in canada. Sorry couldn't give you more, neither of my books had much info on your truck! Hope this helps.
