Have a Problem here......
But the part that keeps pullin me twords sellin it is that it has a rebuilt engine in it, and i've heard they go bad at about 70,***-80,*** miles(depending on who rebuilt it...and i don't know who rebuiltit). And i don't know what this one has on it. And i'm not good enough at engines alone to take on a rebuilt on my own. I can change sensors and plugs and some gaskets, but i'm affraid to get the whole dang thing out and find out i can't do it. Or if i can do it that i won't be able to get it back in. If it had been last fall, i could have done it in my Auto 2 class, but there is only 2 months of school left. I'm consedering going to the college for auto tech. next year and i could do it there....but thats not for sure. I'm just afraid to keep it and blow the engine and have to sell it for like $100 rather than get my money's worth now.
AHHHHH!!! I love this truck! It's great to have in northern minnesota! I can hunt, fish, haul the 4 wheeler.
KEEP what you have. You'll save a lot of money. It's cheaper to keep buying gas for the truck over $400-1000 for a used car and find it throws a rod the next week.
I have an 1983 Pontiac 1000 [Chevette] with almost 400k miles on the original unopened drivetrain. My dad is the original owner. I like GM as much as Ford. Deal.
