Our '88 F-350 XLT Diesel is really going downhill, the park lights have been comming on once in awhile when we start it, but last night the tach quit, the radio is cutting in and out etc. I am gonna try replacing the ignition switch with a good one I have and see if it works.
Well, the ignition didn't help, so now its onto checking the wiring, the tach radio and signal lights and whatnot only quits after about 30 min, about how long it takes to get the truck out to where my father works. And only when the park lights are on, if they don't come on when we start it it is just fine. Getting real tempted to put fire insurance on it so if it does live up to these trucks names (flaming fords) we can afford to just feed the fire till theres nothing left of it.
