What do you guys recommend
I have a friend whose has a 2000 7.3 PSD that has not done
any mods to his truck. After listening to me and what I have
done to my 6.0 PSD, he is very interested in chipping his
7.3 PS. What do you 7.3 guys recommend ?

Before he goes chipping it, I would highly reccommend doing a few other mods first. For starters, get a new air intake and exhaust. The Tymar intake seems to be this sites favorite, and look for a 4" exhaust setup, many different options there. Next look at putting a set of gauges on the truck, pyro, tranny temp, and turbo boost. With a chip your EGT's can get too high and it's nice being able to monitor your engine. After he's done that, look for a chip. Superchip, Diablo make some good ones. I have a 4 pos. flip chip that I love! Being able to change hp settings when I want is great!
