most of the time a bad o-ring or IPR will cause a no start. If you monitor ICP pressure with a scan tool and it doesnt get to 500 and the high pressure oil reservoir is full. It could be a faulty IPR.
Injection pressure regulator O ring failure will do just that. Your truck will start fine when cold and run OK but if you shut it down you will have to wait somewhere around an hour for it to start again. When mine failed I was on my way from Cincinnati, OH to Charlotte, NC for a week of work. I just worked around it - left it running locked up while in a restaurant and such - and fixed it when I got back to Cincinnati.
