fuel filter problems
I have an '89 E350 with a straight 6. Recently changed the fuel filter. The rear connector went back on perfectly, but the front connector has slop in it when I put the hairpin clip in. There is one spacer and one washer on the filter currently, but I have a feeling that there are supposed to be two of each. NAPA and Ford have not been much help. This was supposed to be a five minute replacement. Does anyone have experience with this situation? Thank you for your help.

if the lime is on the filter tube all the way and you can get the plastic hair pin clip on you have no problem,try pulling on the line it should not come off,with the clip in place properly it can not get past the barb on the filter tube.
