bronco 2.9 running bad when warm
This 86 bronco II 2.9 4X4 auto is new to me, a friend gave it to me he parked it 8 years ago because it was running bad. Now after 8 yrs it has other issues as well but if I get it running good I think its worth the other misc. stuff it needs.
I put a battery in and it started right up and ran fine the 10 or so blocks to my house. However after it warmed up it didnt want to go it lost all power and didnt even really want to idle. Let it cool down and it would do the same thing.
I also noticed that even when cold if you gave it full throtle it would accelerate for a couple seconds and then loose power till you let off.
The only thing Ive tried so far is replaced the ign. module on the distributer with a new one and tried another used M.A.P. sensor niether made any differance .......So unless someone has a great idea Ill have to take it to my trusty mechanic (fortunatley I do have a very good mechanic here in Des Moines Iowa) Also does anyone have any experiance with a snow blade on one of these ? THANKS IN ADVANCE Larry
