my brake lights work fine. but when I push them in my left blinker light comes on (stays lit not flashing). the blinkers work fine. But I olny want them to work, when i'm going to turn not when i hit the brakes. i have looked around and can't see were any one spliced into it. any help would be great , thanks guys
Check the ground at the left rear tail light assembly - you might even have to replace the socket. Your indicator is coming on because voltage from the brakes is grounding through the indicator bulb to wherever it grounds.
Where did you get the socket to replace it? I think I need some new ones as I have ohms checked mine, but the brake and tail lights still are a little squirley.
Cool. Thanks, guys. I haven't even looked yet, but my lights are really dim, and I did ohms check everything, and they all have continuity, but don't work well. I will start checking the local parts stores.
