Need divorced transfer case info, please...
I have a 76 f250 4x4 witha np203 fulltime , with a skipping chain , i would like to know if there is a parttime transfeer case to replace my 203 divorced full time.

You can replace it with a divorced NP205, much stronger (no chain). You will most likely have to alter driveshaft lengths. I believe you can just lengthen your intermediate driveshaft though, rather then fiddling with the other 2. But you may also have to work with crossmembers or supports for the new case. In any event they are fairly common.

I just recently had this exact same problem in my 76. When wheelin one day and blew up that 203 like a gernade. I was able to toe the truck home and swap out the case with a 205 however I did need to use the doner truck's drivelines and linkage. Also the U-Joint sizes were slightly different from the diffs and trans to the new drivelines so you will need to get the type of u-joints that are different on one side then they are on the other. I am much happyer with my new 205, its stronger, lighter, smaller, however it is a bit noisier. Hope that helps, I would suggest finding a doner truck.
