If you have questions try calling EZ Wire. Most manufacturers are glad to help with their kits and they know them better than anyone. I called Ron Francis Wireworks a couple of times when installing mine. 56Fun
Attached is the diagram I just used rewiring my 55. It came with the harness. In uploading the image is big for some reason. If you have a prob resizing let me know and will resend. Good luck. My rewire job nearly had me in the nut house. Still fooling around with the T Signals.

What engine/other upgrades do you have? I've installed 5 of the EZ wire kits; 3 in F100s. If I can help, let me know. Be warned, I am not an electrical genius, just a parts changer who follows instructions.
One of the best booklets you can buy is "How to wire your streetrod...from start to finish". It is a $6 paperback which is sold at all the shows. Lots of basics in it.
Some mods are 302 from a 87 mustang. Eldelbrock carb, mallory dist., mallory coil with ballast resistor, mallory electric fuel pump, new style Ford alt. internally regulated, electric fan and more. One question I had was the excitor wire. I need a switched wire for my alt. and was wondering if I could use the excitor wire?? Also I found that I had the 6volt headlight switch. I ordered a GM headlight switch today. My biggest problem is not knowing how to wire the coil and ballast right.
its funny when i started tearing mine out i started marking all the wires then i got behind the dash and had a ball of wires all shades and colors spliced together. when i saw that i just said to myself well gee im sure i can figure out a much better way of doing this fine wire job, then i just cut it all out and said heck with it ill wire it on the fly.
