You can also transfer them between calculators if any of your friends have them already. The 83 will run games from an 82, but nothing higher than an 83+. And yes, many hours of class were spent playing games on the calculator. It helped me stay awake. Peace out.
ah yes my good ole 83+ helped me thru many many classes with the games...and yah like they said get the usb adaptor to download lots of free games, and you can get helpful programs too, i have the entire periodic table in mine with a bunch of info on each element.... the other nice thing is you cant send games from an 83+ to an 82, so all your friends with 82's wont bug ya abt getting all your cool games, hehe
Lol ... I actually MADE some games for my 83+ two years ago. In Basic. Man, math was boring.
Same here man. Started messing with simple functions(Output, ClrHome, Input, etc...) 3 years ago in 9th grade. Pretty fun stuff once you learn how to use Lists and Matrices.
After downloading games, you need a program to transfer it to your calculator. I used Virtual TI, which is actually an emulator so you have to download the TI-83+ ROM. It works great
