high idle
my 2000 f-350 v-10 idles at about 850-1000 rpm if someone could tell me if that is within limits or a bit too high I would appreciate it. Also what does everyone's v-10 idle at?

Both of mine idle at approx. 700-750.
High mileage ? If the check engine light is not on, possibly a IAC valve. This controls the amount of air bypassing the throttle plates at idle. If there is a common part on a V10 that fails on a regular basis, this is it.

My 99 v-10 idles at about 800-1000 rpm also. Only code light ive gotten is a differential pressure flow sensor. Then it went away. Code reader said hose clogged or off. Seems fine though. should I replace this part? thanks for the input.
