Burnt Paint!!
I feel stupid bout this....but here it goes....
Was buffin out a scratch on my 04 lariat, above the taillight...scratch was comin out good....and my son yelled at me to look at him.
Needless to say i didnt pay attention for a few secs, and now ive burnt the paint (i think).
Its a spot bout the size of a quarter, is white, and my truck is black....
Any way of fixing this short of a body shop?
Please help!!!

Humm!! first if the buffing is deep you will need to add some light body putty sand with hand in a movement of circle with 600 grit with water until surface is equal and smooth apply primer but use a piece of carboard with a hole 1 inches larger then you surface apply primer trhought this hole but dont let the carboard stands on the car let it stands 1/2 inch so the paiunt wont mark do the same thing with the top coat again to avoid fumes .
