1978 Stereo System
Hello, i have a 1978 F-150 and i am going to be putting a stereo system in it and i brought ove my friends subwoofers and i was gettin inteirence off the alternator so i went and bought a noise filter and now it works except for when it is in ACC on the key, then it starts beating like the truck has a heart beat....even when the stereo's power is off it does it.....i am thinking it is the voltage regulator am i right?...have you guys had this problem yet? -Karl

check the ground wires and make sure they're clean to the frame.. my truck was getting interference, and i couldnt figure out why it sounded so bad, so i went through all my connections, and found out my ground wasn't connected properly, but my subs did a heart beat too, it was like the amp would push out all it had then, build up energy to do it again, kinda weird i thought, but check your grounds and you may be able to take of noise filter if that was it, also on the amp's remote turn on wire, is connected to sub out or something like that, if you connect it to you're ignition wire you may get that problem also.. just some hints
