S L O W L Y redoing my '77 2wd ~351M~
not really "mechanically" inclined in that i don't know about part options and such... (i can fix stuff... just don't know what brand/option is best).
i need headers for my '77 to improve air flow (this month it's exhaust).
i've searched the forums and online sellers and here's a few options for me:
I have hedman elites, and they are awesome. I had dynomax's, but sent them back due to some fitment problems. The Elites are night and day nicer than the dynomax's. Check out my gallery for some photos.
BTW, the hedman elites are ceramic coated, not aluminized. They also have the ball socket on the collector instead of using a gasket. And they come with a C.A.R.B sticker if that matters.
You can get the Dynomax's ceramic coated for around $225. Other brands out there are flowtech, summit and hooker. Flowtechs are lower end stuff, as are the Summit branded headers.
