Header options
S L O W L Y redoing my '77 2wd ~351M~
not really "mechanically" inclined in that i don't know about part options and such... (i can fix stuff... just don't know what brand/option is best).
i need headers for my '77 to improve air flow (this month it's exhaust).
i've searched the forums and online sellers and here's a few options for me:
Dynomax Standard Series - #289-85051 - $106
Hedman Elite Hedders - 14 gauge alumanized #500-89218 - $260
Hedman Hedders #500-89260 - $146
btw, the Hedman's are 1 3/4" pipes and 3" collectors; and my price range is no more than $300 for the headers
so here's the Q: Are these my best options? any other opinions/experience would be GREATLY appreciated.

BTW, the hedman elites are ceramic coated, not aluminized. They also have the ball socket on the collector instead of using a gasket. And they come with a C.A.R.B sticker if that matters.
You can get the Dynomax's ceramic coated for around $225. Other brands out there are flowtech, summit and hooker. Flowtechs are lower end stuff, as are the Summit branded headers.
