i put my money on you, your bigger, heavier, more load to pull, said he had mods on the engine but you might be stronger. kinda depends on what kinda terrain your on and how your tires fair up to that terrain. but i would put my money on you.

If he knows how to pull and uses 4 wheel drive, you stand about as much chance as a Ch*vy. If you can convince him to use 2 wheel drive, it's all you.

As long as your hitch is higher than his, you have
a good chance, as he'll be helping you load the rear
tires...if you've got an automatic, I'd put a little
coin on you...

who'd win?

hey,
weve got a 96 cherokee with a 4.0L in it, and it wont tow.pull even HALF as much as my pickup, but i have a 302.....but then again its got just under 250,000 miles on it so you know, i think it was a pretty even fight. also, like was said before jeeps are LIGHT vehicles, thats why theyre pretty good off-roading/mudding....at least in my experience. it will just spin if he gives it any amount of gas. are you guys chaining up to rocks and pulling or trailers? logs?

It will be a question of terrain(sp). You will have much more torque, but who can transfer that torque to the ground without losing traction will win. 4wd vs 2wd. advantage 4wd

ford 300 torque vs jeep 2.5L. advantage FORD bigtime.

If you are talking 2wd vs 2wd, I know I'd like to place a small wager on that one.
