clutch problem
Hello everyone...Was wondering if anyone could help me. The clutch master cylinder rod on my 95 f150 keeps slipping off the stud on the clutch pedal assembly. I changed the bushings on the assembly, and that didn't help. Is it likely that the assembly bracket is bent? I understand that there is "firewall flex" problems with these trucks. Would the flex be something I could see? It dosn't APPEAR the firewall is flexing. What would be my next step. Try reinforcing the firewall first? Buy a new bracket/assembly? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, how much $$ am I looking at to replace the bracket and assebly? Thanks --Jim
