I don't have the plate bracket for the front, but I do want one. On Genuine Ford Parts there is a license bracket listed for $5.83, which is only one piece. My question is, is this all I need or are there additional parts to mount this to the bumper? It looks like there may possibly be two other "cover plates" but it's not too clear. Thanks all!
the bracket in question is placed between the bumper and lower facia. it slides in and there is 2 clips that holds it inplace. it seems a bit cheesy but it does what it's intended to do. there are no bolts, screws etc., atleast mine didn't and the bracket is one piece with clips molded into it.

I got mine from the dealer for around $7. I'm sure Genuine Ford Parts will ding you with shipping cost.
I took mine off day one as well. Looks much cleaner. We are required to have a front plate in Ohio but so far no problems. I keep it behind my seat and figure I can say it was knocked off in a parking lot.

I ended up getting one from the dealer for about $6 and change. Kansas does not have two license tags, and the truck was sold in Kansas. Not sure that either have anything to do with one another, as several trucks on the lot had the front bracket. Had I lived in Missouri, I'm sure the dealer would have provided.
I agree that the truck looks cleaner, but as a Kansas State alumni/fan, I am "required" to display my Powercat tag! Besides I think my truck looks a little more aggressive now with it on, and I like it!

First thing I did when I got my truck was tear that thing off and toss it in the trash. Never looked back.
