test MAP
1986 f150 5.0l fi truck stalls for no reason pulled codesfrom pcm using koeo
they are 11 11 continious 22 did not do run test as want to clear this first.
22 MAP sensor signal out of normal range
Heres where i run into difficulties. I set up my multimeter( actron 7677) to v dc according to haynes manual directions and recieve nothing ( maybe because ford uses freq maps this is normal). I change 7677 to 6cyl as stated and nothing. the 7677 maunul sayes to use 4 cyl and i tried that too. nothing.
what i am wondering is this a bad map or is there a possible bad wire?
If bad wire how do i check?
I would replace the map and see but Just got back to work after long time and short the cash so dont want to toss money on things i dont need. still have to eat too.
