thanks for taking time for me -- i was asked the question by a buddy of mine -- "he has a 97 ford ranger -4 cyl -- 5 speed -- will that trans fit into a 93 f15o with a v8 --- thanks again for your time and if possible make me just a little less clueless bobby

Now on to your question, I have moved you over here to the Ranger Forum, not real sure if we can get the answer to your question here……..however there are some real smart folks hanging out over here…so lets see.

I don't think a 4 banger tranny will bolt up or last with a V-8.

If it would, i dobut it would last, thats like double the amount of cylinders that are powering it! Yeah, and i seriously doubt it would even bolt up. Why are you looking to convert the 93 150 into manual or what?
