Extra Leaf up Front?

Hello all: I have a 1997 F-250HD 460ci 4x4, its has the leaf spring front suspension, as of now it has 2 leafs per side. Was wondering if anyone has added a 3rd leaf to there's, when i have my camper on, the front sags a bit more then i like, also if i get a snow plow i will want the extra spring support!! Are there any other ideas to look at? Thanks very much

Jeff

Up on the Superduty forum they were talking about an add-a-leaf kit for the front springs to level the truck front to rear when empty. It adds about 2" of lift. Maybe do a search there for those discussions or just post a question about it. I know the Superduty trucks are different, but springs are springs and as long as the width length and spring rates are right, they should work.

Mine was sagging pretty bad so i put a superlift ( i think )1&1/2 inch add a leaf on and straightened it right up. Leveled it out too. But you could end up with positive camber instead of negative camber. That model still has the twin traction beam front suspension doesn't it?
