A Big HOWDY from Texas!
Howdy Ya'll!
The wife and I just moved to Houston from Maryland in order to get some better jobs and have a little better quality of life...
Now that I'm in Texas I've gotta have a truck! hahaha I'll hopefully be getting a lightly used late model F250 4X4 CC PSD towards the end of september. Until then, I wanted to introduce myself, get to know the fine folks here, and do some research before I went shopping!

"Lizards and doughnuts" HA!!! Well, to be honest it was a lot of things that drove me out. I had always hated DC. I'm more of a country boy. I feel right at home here in the great state of TEJAS!
Most of all though I was in need of a good challenging job. I'm a mechanical engineer and I do hardware design for Lockheed Martin here at NASA. The new job ROCKS! The fact that we could actually AFFORD to buy a big beautiful new house here ROCKS! The heat n humidititty does suck, but mmm November will be nice...
The biggest blower of all is that I've got to sell my Harley. The wife wants a new car and with the mortgage, there's just no way for us to afford 3 vehicles right now. So if anyone wants to buy a 2003 HD Dyna Wide Glide...let me know!!!

Welcome, I'm currently stationed in FL but I'll be back home (DFW) next Christmas.
Yes you definately need a truck in Texas. And yes, life is GREAT in the Lone Star State, couldn't get any better.
