Electronic Ignition Question

I am installing a Dura Spark II electronic ingition on my pre electronic ignition 289. I know that I have to regap my plugs, but I can not find any info of what the gap should be in any of the 74 through 79 manuals. They all say to gap them according to the emissions decal on the vehicle. Also do I need a colder or hotter plug? Give me some help here guys.

.044" gap

If your certain the tune is fine now, then just run a set of plugs and then check'em, wouldn't think you would need to change the temp of the plug due to an ignition upgrade. Good luck
