gonna miss them....
seeing as though this was the last year for the f-150 old style that everone loved so much since they named it heritage, is anyone gonna miss the old styling? i know im going to....

Well, there sure will be plenty around in the used market! I know for several years all I ever wanted was a King Ranch S'crew in the wedgewood blue. I thought that was about the best looking truck I had ever seen. I am looking forward to seeing the new King Rach F-150 but alas it is once again out of reach due to price. Also, I always liked the Lightning look, but from what I can gather the new Lightning will be a pretty smokin truck!

I had my 1992 for 12 years '302 4x2 XLT . I miss it but I decided to make a upgrade Becouse I like Ford and they Maid truck of the Year and it looks and rides GREAT.. But every body new me as the two tone blue Ford now its gone a be the Beige Ford

97-03 Ford trucks looked like they were left in a paint bake oven to long and melted. That sagging hang dog look they had kept me from buying one for 6 years. The best looking Ford trucks were built in 78-79 even if they did have guttless engines. Even the 04's are kind of slab sided looking, but they are a big improvement over the last 6 yrs.

I really like both exterior styles. The 97-03 is modern, sleek, and stylish. The 04 is rugged, it looks like the kind of truck John Wayne would drive.
But; once you get inside and take the wheel -- the 04 is the one that really shines. The interior styling, quietness, and handling spoiled me for any other truck.

The heritage isn't that bad looking, my uncle has one and it looks nice. I agree that the new model looks more rugged. I don't know about your area but here about half of the trucks are 97-03 f150's. Get's annoying seeing all of the same trucks over and over not the stock ones or lifted ones but the one's that are dropped down with 13's... so dumb. The Scarface decal on back of the window looks even dumber. I won't miss em too much, I love my 04.
