Hey, My Rear End's Level !!!!

I had the DJM shackle drop installed this past weekend and finally got around to taking some pictures. I love it! I think it looks great. So, what do you think? Take a look in my gallery!

Turned out nice. I can't decide weather to raise the front or lower the rear to make it level. I like the fact that lowering the rear does not require an alignment, but don't like the idea of "lowering" anything on my truck...decisions decisions....

Thanks all! Actually, I paid $50 to have them installed at Truck Options, so I don't know about the difficulty in installing them. I do have one concern though. The top of the new shackle is really close to the bottom of the truck bed. Seems to close for comfort, but don't know if there will be any repercussions from it. I do love the way it came out. Considering my truck is a 2 wheel drive, driven on the street, I didn't want to raise the front for leveling. It seems to fill the wheel well better too! Thanks for taking a look and hope this helps others who may have been interested.

Glad you like it. I prefer the rake of the standard lift.

Actually, it feels more stable. With the Bridgestone Dueler 285/60/18 tires, it corners very well. I did not feel more bounce, but, maybe I'm missing it or something. I love it!

Thumbs up

Hmmm. Still deciding. I like the low rider thang (even lower) & lifted equally but still need more information on how lift's or drop's impact my towing. I have a 22' Searay and the trailer and boat are matching but I need the functionality as well as the looks.

Any comments from those who have dropped or lifted and impacts to towing
