Exhaust torque specs
Anyone know offhand what the torques specs are for the exhaust manifold bolts? I am helping a friend put a Banks header and exhaust system on and we cant find any mention of torque for the new bolts.

The banks kit does tell you to torque to 18 FTLBS. Good luck ever getting a torque wrench on them. I put the power pack on mine about a month ago. It was all I could do to get to them. I just got mine tight.

I final tightened mine by using drawing the wrench tight using my index and middle finger while holding my hand still.I tightend them in two stages starting in the middle and working out to each end alternately. After 2yrs. and over 30,000mi.I haven't had a loosening problem whatsoever.
