Quite correct. I had a 1963 Galaxie XL rag top with a 390 and it had the same emblem (except labled 390) and each front fender. Ford used the same motor in the T-birds, Galaxies etc. It was a bit of a sales gimmick making people think they were getting a T-bird motor in their Galaxie. BTW the '67 mustang could also be had with a 390.
Lots of neat items there for a wide range of engines.
About a third of the way down the page is a set of 7.5 emblems (done in the Mustang 5.0 style) like the ones Clyde now wears ... centered just below the F250 emblem like I think Ford might have done had they badged the truck motors. ~$20/pr + shipping but I think well worth it. I screwed mine up a little when I was buffing out the fender, took some of the chrome plating off. Have to order another set once I get the little rust repair project completed.
