What NOT to do to an F100!

It would be interesting to hear opinions on this one. The guy is actually asking $35,000 for this truck, Hey, Good luck.

Sometimes this board software really annoys me....

Anyway, doesn't really suit my tastes but hey someone obviously likes it.

To each his own I guess? I personally think this truck screams 50's better than any other I've seen. I really like it. At least it's not some mulletized one with a grant wheel , turbine mags and some cheasy graphics running a 350. -4speed

I have to agree w/ 4speed on this! The chain-link wheel might be over the top, but at least it doesn't have the turbine wheels with a teal and bright yellow paint job w/ red accents!!!! I must say I will have to add the word "mulletized" to my dictionary!!!

...I will continue to Fordomize, not mulletize my truck!!!!... :}

you're right about the mullitized cheesy graphic 350 Cword, but this is awfully close!!! Bad taste is not illegal

Don't like the steeringwheel or shifter, but otherwise it's a very well done retro 50's custom. I would have done the top silver rather than white for a little less contrast, but it is period correct popular combo. Looks like it came off the cover of an early 60's Rod and Custom, only needs the bed cover R&Ped. Bet it looks even better in person than photos.
35K? Sounds like he's trying to get his investment back or make a few bucks, tho if it was all farmed out to good shops for the work, that's actually a low price would cost 50K + to duplicate.

I must be old skool, for the most part I love it... Things I'd change....the shifter (23 in. swan neck, piston ****) tailpipes might be ok if they were shorter. bench seat (roll/pleat) I love the steering wheel but it might be harder than my teeth. Other than that, as Clint Eastwood would say "it's the cat's ***".

I really like the grill. That's what all the 53-56 grills should look like. I was thinking if I had one of those years I would get a toothy grill like that.

I have never seen a shifter like that. What's with the yo-yo? I don't think I would pay $35K for it, but I don't hate the way it looks.

WAy too darkside for me to have. Some excellent work though. If it were me and I had spent that amount of $$$,,, I would have put in a killer engine, big block, 4 speed or 5 speed for cruising, vintage air and the whole deal. Hot and cold running Hooters girls to keep it waxed . Shame of it is this truck will probably be a trailer queen.

More old school than this truck

I don't have to like it, but I sure appreciate it. Looks like a ton of high dollar work to make it his own. Randy

This truck looks exactly like alll the old AMT and JoHan models I built when I was a lad...almost too much! When does "period correct" become "built to someone else's vision"?
