I am having trouble aligning my sliding door. When I bought the van, the latch had become damaged; I think from hitting the striker post too low. I replaced both of those and the lower roller (horizontally oriented) and the upper roller (also horizontally oriented). It appears the latch still is too low. I put the post down as far as it goes and tried to adjust the door up as much as possible when the three bolts that hold the bottom roller assembly to the frame. There is a lot of vertical play in the rear (middle) roller assembly. Could this be the problem? I compared it too my other Aersotar, seems to be the same. Right now it's so low that the top roller bracket drags on the body.
Incidentally, I'm sure a lot of people have found that the latch assy can be a pain to get off (the torx screws tend to bind). My recommnedation is to take the panel off and spray a lot of liquid wrench on the back side. I would also consider taking the door all the way off (I eventually did) to really get a good grip on the bolts. If the bind, drill the heads off, remove the latch, and get a good vise grip on them. They will come off and then clean up with a tap. I tried to drill & tap one out w/ no success but with two out of the three screws in I hope it will hold.
