Fuel tank wont switch

I have a 1984 e350 motor home cant switch to front tank, switching
valve is good can here it switch have power to the pump but wont
show or pump on gauge Help

Sounds like the wires are broken inside the tank. I didn't think there was a pump in the tank in '84......... I could be wrong.. It should have a mechanical pump on the side of the engine, and all the switch does is change the valve for fuel flow.

There is a pump in each tank this thing set for 4 years could it be
sender and pump both bad,when you swich tanks the gauge falls to
empty and the pump wont come on the tank is full

There are wires in the tank I'd drop it and remove the gauge/sender assembly.... You can check the wires, and also the filter on the end of the pickup tube for the pump.

If this engine is carburated, it should have mechanical pump on the engine.
The fuek tank switch valve is fused, check the fuse, can't remember exactly which circuit it is. hope this helps.
