I had an ocassion remove the grab bar and trim panel while looking for a route for power for my radar detector. It was easy to remove...just pop out the inserts that cover the two bolts with a small flat screwdriver. There is a small slot on one side of the inserts for this purpose. I removed the cover on the passenger side since that's the one closest to the fuse panel. After you get a wire routed it's real simple to just push it over the front edge of the healiner...it's molded and floats free...it's not actually attached. It's probably easier to start at the overhead bin area and push you wire forward until it comes out near the windshield...I used a piece of coathanger wire to push my wire through. Then I just pulled it over to the pillar and down. Then I went back and just tucked it in back over the edge of the headliner as I mentioned. Then I just tie-wrapped my wires to the existing ones in the pillar and replaced the cover and grab bar.
