Wow, that looks GREAT!! better lookin than undercoatin. How much did you need for the whole thing?? I know for a fact it wont rust cause I put it on my gas tank and no rust. Ck out the POR putty and POR patch, they are both excellent products.
I bought that stuff, but used it more for the body, since I didn't want stuff like the bottoms of the doors to rust. I had already painted the frame with rustoleum, or I probably would have done the frame with it too. One thing is for sure, it is TOUGH. I put it on the bottoms of the doors and fenders and the floor of the cab. Then, to paint it, I had to scuff it. I had a tough time. I ended up using a palm sander with 60 grit. It only scuffed it too, That stuff doesn't actually come off, and doesn't scuff very well. It is worth it.
Oh Yea I Forgot To Tell You - If You Use This Stuff You Must Wear Good Rubber Gloves And Be Very Careful Not To Get It On You. The Only Thing That Removes It From Skin Is Time!!!!
sure no problm. stuff is like steel when finished.(por15) . guy at NBR dist (autobody supply shop) had a front coil spring painted with por15 . He took it outside and threw it down hard on the concrete . When he was finished chasing it down he showed it to me and there was no marks on it.
i think with the proper prep work it would last forever. well close to it anyways.
