It can be shot onto a frame with a gun. You can thin it out and it'll be groovie.
I think it's some fantastic stuff. Just be sure to prep your surface well. I had accidently left some grease smudges on the tail gate cover of my Bronco. Now I have some un-painted fingerprint spots on it where the stuff rubbed off.
I forgot to tell you guys about the UV sunlight. It does state on the can that direct sunlight will discolor the paint. My buddy told me that after you use the por15 you can paint over it with any color you want. It makes a excellent primer to keep you truck from rusting out in the future. I personally would only use it on my undecarriage and frame. (springs - fuel tank - axels - steering arms -- you get the idea) Good Luck -- Tim
Nope.....you can just paint it right on....so it says. I took a flapper wheel to my CJ frame......it took most of the rust right off....cleaned it well, then painted.
