One thing first, make sure your electric fans are pushing in the right direction. They aren't counteracting the real fan, are they??? Also, unless they are really high flow electric fans, they could be hindering even if they are going the right way.

They are pushing the right way. They could be hinderin the flow because they are not high flow fans, they came off an Dodge Intrepid. So I am pretty sure that they are not high flow fans.

If you have a shroud on there the stock fan should cool it just fine without any pushers. Without the shroud you're pulling air in from around your engine compartment rather than through your radiator. If you can't fine one you can build your own with sheet metal. I don't remember who it was but someone who posts often in the 73-79 forum has pics in their gallery of a custom built shroud that works great.
